Spot Details

This is a hill with a water tower right on top. Wind from the west can be unstable due to trees and tower but from other directions can be clean.

Parking at the tower is permitted. Come up the side of the lot, through the recycle center and up the unpaved road.

Parking in the paved lot requires a pass during the week, go on up to the top of the hill.

This field is covered with tailgators when football games are at home in Clemson so those Saturday's will be un useable. Sunday after you can find some static room.

I've seen cars and bikes ride over the hill across the grass. Best to stake your kites close to your car when not in use around the tower area.

I wouldn't drive a long way for this spot but if you up that way, it's a  place where you can fly. Police and Clemson staff have been up there many times and are very friendly.
